Sleeping Villager Thrice Majestic delivers exactly what I want out of a debut EP. It illustrates a unique sound and approach. It lays groundwork for a sonic and thematic aesthetic with significant room to grow–the potential is pretty wide open for the skillful application of doom and thrash with an adventurous backdrop. Perhaps most importantly, Thrice Majestic has made me a fan of the band in very short order. Favorite track: 2. Silver And Gold.

Tom's Reviews How am I supposed to pick a favorite track when the whole thing is just fucking excellent?!? You will hear elements of some of the best bands in the genre on this release, Sleep, Black Sabbath, Mastodon, High on Fire, etc. Every song rips, and Silver and Gold is pure Sleep worship in my opinion, and my pick for best song; which was difficultto pick because they're all incredible. Favorite track: 2. Silver And Gold.
